Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) is the most organised and the largest airport in Nigeria, it consists of both international terminal and both local terminals.
In 2019, according to the aviation regulator, the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, recorded 96,621 aircraft movements, handled 187.49 million cargo and 7.319 million passengers.
The Federal Government of Nigeria (FG) has explained the underlining reasons for the plan to demolish and rebuild the 40-year-old Murtala Muhammed International Airport, in Lagos State.
