Atalanta moved back into second position on the Serie A standings with a 2-0 win over 10-man Benevento.
Luis Muriel opened the scoring in the 22nd minute before Mario Pasalic doubled the lead in the 67th minute. Luca Caldirola was then sent off in the 82nd minute as the visitors were reduced to ten men for the final ten minutes.
Atalanta are in second but level on points with AC Milan, two points ahead of Napoli and three ahead of Juventus. Beneventos hopes of avoiding relegation, meanwhile, suffered another blow as they are four points adrift of 17th-placed Spezia.
