President Muhammadu Buhari is currently facing backlashes on social media by Nigerians as they express their disappointment over his address to the nation yesterday.
Buhari addressed the most salient issue ongoing in the country that is the #EndSARS protest, Lekkit toll gate shooting, hoodlums vandalizing properties and looting shops among others in a televised live broadcast that lasted for 13 minutes.
He asaid that “human lives have been lost” and properties have been destroyed “in the name of the End SARS protests” and further beckoned the youth to terminate all protest activities.
A large proportion Nigerians have registered their displeasure in his speech as one @Glowville described it as one that lacks empathy, disconnected from true realities and cold.
Another said ‘jubril is at home watching the pre-recorded’.
